Mrs. Magdelyn Noboa-Roach

Principal

Principal Magdelyn Noboa-Roach has been an educator, coach, staff developer, and Assistant Principal with the NYC Department of Education since 2001. She comes from a long legacy of educators and joined the Journey Prep community in the fall of 2020.

Under her leadership, the school continues its commitment to cultivating the heart and mind of every scholar so that each child can SOAR.

Strong school leadership plays a central role in shaping a positive learning environment where every scholar can thrive. At P.S. 69 Journey Prep, the administration focuses on cultivating both the heart and mind of each child, reinforcing the school's mission to help students soar. Leaders guide staff development and instructional practice, ensuring that high expectations remain consistent across classrooms while supporting the broader school community. Through collaboration with teachers, families, and district colleagues, the leadership team works to maintain a welcoming culture built on shared purpose and continuous growth.

Assistant Principal

Ms. Pagoada-Mellado serves as Assistant Principal, supporting instruction, culture, and operations across grade levels. She works closely with the Principal to maintain high expectations and a nurturing environment for every scholar.
