Parents Association
A school-based organization that brings families together to support every student at P.S. 69 Journey Prep.
What is the PA?
The Parents Association (PA) is a school-based organization for the parents and guardians of children attending this NYC public school. The PA serves as a primary vehicle for parent involvement, giving families a voice in school life and a path to participate in activities that strengthen the school community.
Through the PA, parents collaborate with school leadership on programs, events, and initiatives that directly support student learning and well-being.
How can I be active with my PA?
There are several ways to be an active member of the Parents Association. Your participation helps shape a stronger school community for every scholar.
- Come to as many PA meetings as possible.
- Present your concerns and ideas; they are shared with school administration.
- Volunteer for various committees and events throughout the school year.
- Stay connected with other parents to support classroom and school-wide efforts.
